Who We Are

About Seville Flamenco Show

An independent guide to seeing flamenco in the city where it was born — written by someone who grew up with it.

Our mission

Seville has more flamenco than any city on earth — and more ways to get it wrong. Tourist traps sit next door to the real thing, and prices, formats and quality vary wildly. We built Seville Flamenco Show to cut through that: to compare every ticketed show honestly, point you to the performances with genuine duende, and help you book with confidence.

Who writes this

I'm Rafa Giménez, born and raised in Triana — the old Gitano quarter across the river where flamenco took shape. I grew up hearing the cante drift out of bars on Calle Betis, and I've spent more than a decade going to tablaos, theaters and neighbourhood peñas across the city, from the famous rooms to the ones with no sign on the door. This guide is the advice I give friends when they visit.

How we rank and review

Our recommendations are based on evidence, not guesswork. For every show we weigh:

We update prices, ratings and minimum ages periodically and note when something is contested or has changed. When a venue isn't bookable through us — peñas, Los Gallos, Granada's cave shows — we still tell you about it.

How we stay free

The site is reader-supported through affiliate links: when you book a show through our links to GetYourGuide, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes our rankings — full details are in our affiliate disclosure, and we explain how we handle data in our privacy policy.
